Actor Ayman Samman joins the Fire Rose Productions in their 8th annual 10 minute play festival.  The festival starts by a contest for playwrights to submit their work of which a select few plays are picked to be produced. “I’m very excited to be part of the festival! There’s nothing like the energy of a live performance.” Said Samman. Ayman will be playing the role of Ali, an Iraqi baker and a single father. Bread by Randy Gross is a one act play is about two fathers – one in Pennsylvania, the other in war-torn Iraq – communicate via the web while struggling to keep their tiny bakeries afloat. “It’s a very moving play about the human condition. Shows that no matter where people are they share the same dreams and struggles” said Samman.  The play runs December 9-11, 2010 at the Secret Rose Theatre in the NoHo Art District (11246 Magnolia Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601).
