Actor Ayman Samman lands the lead role in the new web series Switch

Actor Ayman Samman, recently signed on with the producers of the web series Switch as the lead character. Ayman will be playing an American Army doctor who is originally from the middle east as he leads a team that investigates strange terrorist crimes committed on American soil by former American POWs. “I was very excited when I was approached by writer/director and fellow actor, Sila Agavale to play the lead role in his web series.” said, Samman. “The story line is a mix of a sci-fi/thriller/crime drama and it tackles current issues with a new spin on stereotypes”. “Switch”, follows three characters, an Army Doctor, a Female Cop and a Samoan Ex FBI Agent. It’s the last days of a secret program approved by the CIA after 9/11 called SWITCH. Decoding Bin Ladin’s sinister plan concealed in the brains of US POW’s. واشنطن – محرر مصراوى – يقوم ممثل أمريكي مصري بدور محام يتولى الدفاع عن صبيين إيرانيين متهمين بالشذوذ الجنسي في مسرحية أمريكية من المقرر أن تعرض للمرة الأولى في مدينة لوس أنجلوس بولاية كاليفورنيا الأمريكية في الخامس من مارس المقبل.

ويقوم الممثل الأمريكي المصري الأصل أيمن السمان بدور المحامي روح الله رزاز زاده في المسرحية التي تحمل اسم “حرام إيران” وتعرض للمرة الأولى في لوس أنجلوس على مسرح “سيليبريشن ثييتر”.

Chicago 48 Hour Film Project

That was a great experience! Even though the film itself didn’t end up making the contest due to major sound issues, the shoot was a blast! The group was quiet organized and started brainstorming ideas two weeks in advance. Five creative writers, a great producer and a very collaborative director, Dan Finely, made for a fun day. Not to mention the talented cast. All the right element were in place and that’s why a decsion was made to refine the project and reshoot it later this fall. Here are some pictures from te set.
